@xF0E: Please check if you have perl correctly installed, especially if /usr/share/perl5/core_perl/ExtUtils/Constant* are present in your filesystem. Please post your results here to modify the PKGBUILD if needed. Thanks.

The build process is failing with: Checking if your kit is complete... Warning: the following files are missing in your kit: const-c.inc const-xs.inc Please inform the author. Only one of PREFIX or INSTALL_BASE can be given. Not both. Makefile:12471: recipe for target 'perl-module/Makefile' failed make[3]: *** [perl-module/Makefile] Error 25 make[3]: Leaving directory '/tmp/builddir/pspp/src/pspp-0.8.5' Makefile:12479: recipe for target 'perl_module_tarball' failed make[2]: *** [perl_module_tarball] Error 2 What can i do about it?

The build process apparently fails when linking final executables due to unresolved symbols from libxml2 (there is no libxml2 in the linker command line). I've patched the makefile: http://ix.io/kKE

Someone having the same issue with integrity check failing? ==> Missing dependencies: -> postgresql-libs ==> Checking buildtime dependencies... ==> ERROR: Could not resolve all dependencies. :: failed to verify pspp integrity

This program isn't found when you search like this: packer -Ss spss Instead, you only find pspp-git. Could you add "free replacement for SPSS" to the package description? Thanks

Thank you very much for this package to everyone involved.

Disowned: I no longer use pspp. Sorry for the delay between the new release and the disown.

The current stable version does not; I believe that one is available in the developer snapshot and therefore, of course, in the git as well. 'Til the next stable version is released, if you need a .desktop file you can either write your own (easy enough to do) or download the official one from the project's git.

Ah... psppire is the gui. Do they not ship with .desktop files?
