It would be smarter - it would need some tweaking in the install process though so that they can live side-by-side

Would pinned packages help with build OSELAS.Toolchain, which depends on a given version?

if anyone happens to depend on this package: would you want me to create pinned packages for the latest releases i've maintained? (2024.01.0+)

What about the tolchain?
In ptxdist-docs they mention OSELAS stuff.
Is that necessary, or can I just use pacman and install some arm-stuff?
Or some AUR packages?
What is needed to build an image for ARM on i686/x86_64 Arch system?
I did not found any OSELAS stuff on AUR.

2013.01.0 builds fine, but 'python2' dependency is missing.
It'd also be a good idea to quote the variables cover building in a path with special characters/spaces.
One last thing that bothers me:
This PKGBUILD does not allow multiple ptxdist installations with different versions in parallel, which is common practice if you're building not only "your" project, but also OSELAS toolchains. I'm personally just stuffing the version number into the $pkgname and fix the source and directories in the PKGBUILD as a (dirty) workaround, and I'm lacking a good idea how to do this right. :(
PKGBUILD patch for quoting and dependency fix:
