Seems that something went wrong : Got this when starting puddletag File "/usr/bin/puddletag", line 319, in <module> import puddlestuff.resource # Needs to be first as other modules use it. ImportError: No module named puddlestuff.resource

@chapa do you have python2-pillow6 installed? This package replaces python2-pillow as a dependency.

Echoing @kescherAUR, though, you should probably just go install puddletag-qt5-git instead, unless you enjoy watching qt4 manually compile. :)

Looks like the dependency python2-configobj has been dropped from the [community] repository. I will try and package it for the AUR as soon as I can.

@prometheus this is a build error with a dependency, not an install error. See @esdrasedu's comment here. Work-around would be to downgrade to sip 4.19.16-2 - you'll need to ask the maintainer of python2-pyqt4 about how they plan to handle this.

Fails to install. Looks like the wrong SIP version is being used.

Qt v4.8.7 (Open Source) is being used.
Qt is built as a shared library.
SIP 4.19.19 is being used.
The sip executable is /usr/bin/sip.
These PyQt4 modules will be built: QtCore, QtGui, QtHelp, QtMultimedia,
QtNetwork, QtDeclarative, QtScript, QtScriptTools, QtOpenGL, QtSql, QtSvg,
QtTest, QtXml, QtXmlPatterns, phonon, QtDesigner, QtDBus.
The PyQt4 Python package will be installed in /usr/lib/python3.7/site-packages.
PyQt4 is being built with generated docstrings.
PyQt4 is being built with 'protected' redefined as 'public'.
The Designer plugin will be installed in /usr/lib/qt4/plugins/designer.
The QScintilla API file will be installed in /usr/share/qt4/qsci/api/python.
The PyQt4 PEP 484 stub files will be installed in
/usr/lib/python3.7/site-packages/PyQt4.
The dbus support module will be installed in
/usr/lib/python3.7/site-packages/dbus/mainloop.
pyuic4, pyrcc4 and pylupdate4 will be installed in /usr/bin.
The interpreter used by pyuic4 is /usr/bin/python.
