Pydio will soon be deprecated in favor of Pydio Cells which is based on Go instead of PHP and sadly has absurd resource requirements: a dual-core CPU and 4GB RAM.

dependencies should be fixed to allow for php70-gd and php70-intl, thanks!

sidenote: php 7.2 seems to break pydio bad, referenced here: and indeed my setup broke unless I reverted to php70. BTW, when doing that, make sure you edit the right php.ini file (in /etc/php70)!

Please remove the php-mcrypt dependency. The package no longer exists and Pydio does not need it.

8.0.0 works fine without the need for additional changes and finally supports PHP 7

@Phlogiston: I believe you need to update the database - see You should check the log files for more information about the error.

I get the following error in the browser when logging in as admin: Javascript: undefined. Any ideas? Any post-update stuff that needs to be run?

There's a bug in the nginx SSL config [root@webserver]: /etc/nginx/sites-enabled># nginx -s reload 2016/10/21 19:28:28 [emerg] 3336#3336: invalid number of arguments in "return" directive in /etc/nginx/sites-enabled/pydio.conf:7 return 301 https://$server_name$request_uri? permanent;
