Pydio will soon be deprecated in favor of Pydio Cells which is based on Go instead of PHP and sadly has absurd resource requirements: a dual-core CPU and 4GB RAM.

dependencies should be fixed to allow for php70-gd and php70-intl, thanks!

sidenote: php 7.2 seems to break pydio bad, referenced here: https://forum.pydio.com/t/php-update-7-1-to-7-2-on-archlinux-breaks-pydio/277 and indeed my setup broke unless I reverted to php70. BTW, when doing that, make sure you edit the right php.ini file (in /etc/php70)!

Please remove the php-mcrypt dependency. The package no longer exists and Pydio does not need it.

8.0.0 works fine without the need for additional changes and finally supports PHP 7

@Phlogiston: I believe you need to update the database - see https://github.com/pydio/pydio-core/tree/develop/dist/php. You should check the log files for more information about the error.

I get the following error in the browser when logging in as admin: Javascript: undefined. Any ideas? Any post-update stuff that needs to be run?

Files for 7.0.1: PKGBUILD - http://hastebin.com/ipuduxijat.bash pydio.install - http://hastebin.com/ayowevaduy.bash A sample configuration file for Nginx can be found at /usr/share/doc/pydio/.

There's a bug in the nginx SSL config [root@webserver]: /etc/nginx/sites-enabled># nginx -s reload 2016/10/21 19:28:28 [emerg] 3336#3336: invalid number of arguments in "return" directive in /etc/nginx/sites-enabled/pydio.conf:7 return 301 https://$server_name$request_uri? permanent;

FYI: Today I noticed that several optional dependencies for pydio are not in the AUR: pear-http-oauth pear-http-webdavclient pear-mail-mimedecode pecl-rsync php-aws-sdk php-libgit2-git

@max-k: Thanks for the quick update. What is your opinion on the nginx config? As G-Ray said, sharing does not work with it.

max-k commented on 2016-04-07 09:59 (UTC)

Thank you for your feedback. I updated pydio.install to show an upgrade notice.

xsmile commented on 2016-04-06 01:13 (UTC)

@veluria: Several post-installation tasks are necessary for an upgrade, see https://pydio.com/en/community/releases/pydio-core/pydio-core-640-sharing-ux-performances and https://pydio.com/forum/f/topic/6-3-1-to-6-4-0-upgrade-withing-application-shows-no-available-upgrade/ (regarding the caches)

sflor commented on 2016-04-05 20:30 (UTC)

After the upgrade: <tree> <message type="ERROR"> include_once(/usr/share/webapps/pydio/plugins/access.webdav/class.webdavAccessWrapper.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory </message> </tree> Am I missing something?

So what's the right thing to do ? Sharing features do not work with the example config

Hi, I have updated ssl vhost to correct the mistake. About your other comment, rewrite rules are't nginx way of doing things.

5chdn commented on 2015-10-12 09:39 (UTC)

sorry if this is the wrong place and maybe you could pass it upstream, but the nginx example conf is completely missing the rewrite rules: rewrite ^/dashboard|^/settings|^/welcome|^/ws- /index.php last; if ( !-e $request_filename ) { # WebDAV Rewrites rewrite ^/shares /dav.php last; # Sync client rewrite ^/api /rest.php last; # External users rewrite ^/user ./index.php?get_action=user_access_point last; # Public shares rewrite ^/data/public/([a-zA-Z0-9_-]+)\.php$ /data/public/share.php?hash=$1?; } rewrite ^/data/public/([a-zA-Z0-9_-]+)--([a-z]+)$ /data/public/share.php?hash=$1&lang=$2?; rewrite ^/data/public/([a-zA-Z0-9_-]+)$ /data/public/share.php?hash=$1?; source: https://pyd.io/nginx

thanks for this package! the file: /usr/share/doc/pydio/example_nginx_vhost_ssl.conf misses a terminating ';' in line 30 (ssl_session_timeout)
