I'm programing illiterate, but it would be great if someone takes on the task to update the program, and perhaps modernize the UI. It's just such a handy little program I have come to love and rely on.

For the record, after asking Xyne if there is a repository with the code: there isn't so anyone needing to modify stuff (including a python3 port ;) ) anyone can start from the tarball.

I had to reinstall python2-cairo to fix this:

Pystopwatch no longer launches today, I last used it 3 days ago and all was fine.

Xyne, now, that Arch dropped Python2, will this app migrate to Python3? I use it daily and near the only software that uses Python2 on my system.

The source file in the directory is https://xyne.archlinux.ca/projects/pystopwatch/src/pystopwatch-2018.tar.xz not https://xyne.archlinux.ca/projects/pystopwatch/src/pystopwatch-2018.11.tar.xz

You can remove the .install file. It is handled automatically now by update-desktop-database.hook.
