@simona Use
yay -S python-asdforyay -S --asdeps python-sphinx-astropy. I said yay should solve the dependencies AUTOMATICALLY. Why don't you useyayto install python-asdf?simona commented on 2022-02-03 18:05 (UTC)

@simona the
python-sphinx-astropyis a makedepend of this package. Why don't you install it? Or why don't you use yay -S python-asdf? Yay should solve dependencies automatically.simona commented on 2022-02-03 17:55 (UTC)
ERROR: the documentation requires the sphinx-astropy package to be installed

"yay -S $(pacman -Qoq /usr/lib/python3.9) --answerclean All" give this error but list some packages. If I use yay -S with ALL packages it does not give error... :-(
Universebenzene commented on 2021-12-17 02:23 (UTC)
@simona maybe you have to rebuild all the listed package one by one. Or you can go to archlinux forum to ask about this.

a way to discover that installed pkg use "python-xdg"?
simona commented on 2021-12-16 18:14 (UTC)
In my system I have python-pyxdg 0.27-4 and no python-xdg.
The question is why he tries to uninstall python-pyxdg to install python-xdg
Universebenzene commented on 2021-12-16 17:59 (UTC)
@simona python-xdg has been replaced by python-pyxdg. Just remove python-xdg.

doing "yay -S $(pacman -Qoq /usr/lib/python3.9) --answerclean All" it give me:
Package conflicts found:
-> Installing python-xdg will remove: python-pyxdg (python-xdg), python-pyxdg
-> Installing rust will remove: rustup (cargo), rustup (rustfmt), rustup (rust)
