It appears that the PKGBUILD has an outdated hash (l. 17) for the 'upstream.path' file, for the time being replacing it with the output of

cat upstream.path | sha256sum

after a failed attempt is enough to successfully build the package.

The package fails to build:

    0.3.8.tar.gz ... Passed
    upstream.path ... FAILED
==> ERROR: One or more files did not pass the validity check!
