I reported it upstream and he committed a fix for this just an hour ago. He wrote, that it will be in version 0.5.

Hi!
I am not able to install this package on my systems. It fails in the test session. Anyone seeing the same behavior? Might this be a problem with the new Python 3.6? Thanks!
