Ah, ok :) @yan12125 if you want, create the package and the merge it or tell me and I will do it.

@dundee: The merge happened, things are also discussed on aur-requests. ;)

yan12125: Hello, we have to first wait if current python-git package will be merged or renamed to something else (it's discoussed now in aur-general). I don't mind beeing owner or co-maintainer.

Hello, as CPython has migrated to Github, I hope to have a python-git package and merge this package into the new one. Do you want to be the owner of the new package? Or I can do this and add you as a co-maintainer?

Many thanks! It's working fine now.

Got this error: ==> Starting prepare()... make: *** No rule to make target 'touch'. Stop. I guess `make touch` should be run after ./configure

Added, did it help?

yan12125 commented on 2016-07-07 08:45 (UTC)

Can't build python-hg without installing 'python'. http://bugs.python.org/issue26662 suggests `make touch` before the actual build. Could you add it?

Fixed, thanks!
