@TheGreatAndyChow Try editing the PKGBUILD and replacing the build function with this, and manually build with
makepkgto see if it works. This will remove previously built wheels and only build for THE system's Python, so there should be only one wheel:AUR push function is still disabled, so I can't update the build script yet.Updated.<deleted-account> commented on 2026-08-06 02:30 (UTC)

This happens on clear
aur fetch python-loroas well. The issue is indeed with my environment. Apart from regular python I totally forgot I have python310 installed as well.
The
--find-interpreterflag in the maturnin build part builds a wheel per found CPython, so src/loro-py-1.13.1/dist contains:so during check() and package() both wheels get installed. The 310 first, and then cp314 collides with it.
So messy system on my side.
So, without the
--find-interpreterflagOnly one wheel is made, and the rest goes well. But I'll of course remove python310 cause I no longer need it, so no change needed. Just a note for some other rare case where people have multiple Python installations.
The only other nitpick is missing rust in makedepends.

@Pulec The issue seems to be that the previous test environment
src/test_envwas not removed at the beginning of the check function. Try removing this folder and then reinstalling the package. However, I cannot reproduce this issue with makechrootpkg and yay, so if this issue still occurs, you might need to check your environment.
