Two notes from the installation I just made. The file "$srcdir/$_svnmod//opencv/doc/license.txt" now apears to be at "$srcdir/$_svnmod//opencv/LICENCE". The line cp $srcdir/$_svnmod//opencv/samples/{python,python2}... had to be changed to cp $srcdir/$_svnmod//opencv/samples/python2... since there appear to be only the "python2" examples.

Does this package support java bindings?

The package doesn't compile. The PKGBUILD is deprecated as yaourt says: ==> WARNING: Using a PKGBUILD without a package() function is deprecated. and the repository has changed and is now located on github: https://github.com/Itseez/opencv/ Also to simplify the PKGBUILD, there is now the possibility to put the git repository directly in the "source=()" field. See https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/VCS_PKGBUILD_Guidelines#VCS_sources.

Thanks maleadt. Fixed.

Somehow OpenCV now installs some files in /usr/share/opencv, causing the "[[ -d /usr/share/OpenCV ]] & mv OpenCV opencv" to create an "/usr/share/opencv/OpenCV" hierarchy, breaking lots of stuff (including CMake's library detection). Adding a "rm opencv" before the "mv OpenCV opencv" fixes this, but as far as I see this is more of an upstream issue installing files in two separate directories.

OpenCV has moved to git, please use opencv-git instead.
