Please download your source file to a distinctive filename. If $SRCDEST is set, all downloads end up in a single directory, and 2.0.1.tar.gz is likely ambigue.

(Prefix ${pkgname}-${pkgver}.tar.gz:: to the source entry.)

+1 for needing makedepends=('python-setuptools') to build in a clean chroot

Right, wrong package to file a bug against. I'll file a bug in the correct place this time!

For this PKGBUILD, there are some tweaks to dependencies for building in a clean chroot:

@jonathon. The build fails related to python-application package. I already fixed that with a custom patch. Try to update that package.

This fails to build with Python 3.10, upstream report: https://github.com/AGProjects/python3-otr/issues/2
