The fact that you uploaded two differing PKGBUILDs with identical pkgver and pkgrel isn't ideal. Maybe upload the correct/working/current PKGBUILD with pkgrel=2 to avoid confusion :)

Yes it is, but given how upstream hasn't seen any activity in over a year I don't expect the maintainer to update their key.

The GPG key referenced in the PKGBUILD seems to have expired? Updating the package produced a warning.
