@fordprefect thanks, and i just figured out your nickname (even though've been reading The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy for the last month, lol). P.S. Reading it it Russian, which is kind of excuse :)

I just pushed the fix removing the dep versioning completely after verifying it works with the gplaycli/gpapi stack. Please report if you encounter problems (in other applications).

@kyak, yes, typo.

I'm not sure why the upstream hasn't acted on this. FWIW, using python-click 7.0 doesn't seems to cause any issues for me.

fordprefect commented on 2018-11-06 16:50

@kyak: it doesn't really matter since Arch provides click v7 and partial upgrades are strongly advised against. I'm waiting for answer on [0] before taking this change.

@lightdot you meant to type

sed -i "s|click==6.7|click>=6.7|g" "./setup.py"

/thanks!

lightdot commented on 2018-11-05 21:31

Needs something like

sed -i "s|click==6.7|click<6.7|g" "./setup.py"

under build(), Arch has moved to python-click 7.0 in September...

@kyak: not sure that file was intentionally renamed upstream, but I hotpached the setup.py for the time being. we'll see what happens in further releases. EDIT: new version fixing this is already out. updated and works.
