PSA: Version 14.0.0 has a breaking change. I will not be updating yet to give projects time to adapt.

I think we can point to https://github.com/home-assistant-libs/pychromecast instead of balloob/

Have you read the warning in 7.0.0 release? BREAKING CHANGE Track services based on UUID instead of mDNS service name (#380)

This breaks almost all packages that depend on this one. Sometimes it's better to wait with such a major update or at least make sure most other services are known to have fixes avalable.

For now at least mkchromecast and catt are broken for several users.

shasum appers to be incorrect:

    6.0.0.tar.gz ... FAILED
==> ERROR: One or more files did not pass the validity check!

Now that was quick. Thanks!

This package appears to be missing a dependency on "python-casttube".

pkg_resources.DistributionNotFound: The 'casttube>=0.1.0' distribution was not found and is required by PyChromecast

python2-pychromecast is not usable anymore 'cause support for python2-zeroconf was dropped

Thank you, cleared up. (Commenting so people don't have to compare the dates of the previous comments and last update to know if this has been fixed.)
