@VorpalGun, sorry fixed now with 3.0.0-2.

Hm, new version doesn't build for me:

Yes sorry guys. I had already added
python-flit-core
to themakedepends
but as kseistrup points out I accidentally did not push the.SRCINFO
change. Fixed now with 2.11.2-2.kseistrup commented on 2022-11-20 21:23 (UTC)
It has been added, but it seems that it hasn't made it to the
.SRCINFO
file so makepkg doesn't know.nursoda commented on 2022-11-20 17:31 (UTC)
If you encounter that you cannot install/update this package due to unmet dependencies, just install python-flit-core from community. However, this should be added to PKGBUILD as (dev-)dependency by @bulletmark.

we need python-filt-core to build this now - python-filt-core is not available.

V2.11.2-1:
python-flit-core
is now a dependency (at least for building).loathingkernel commented on 2022-10-15 15:14 (UTC)
@bulletmark for posterity it seems that it was related to
devtools
integration inparu
, some change indevtools
broke it, https://github.com/Morganamilo/paru/issues/859bulletmark commented on 2022-10-11 12:03 (UTC)
@loathingkernel, I thought /startdir was odd but assumed that was a personal choice where you build AUR packages so it is not a "dead giveaway". Note the last section on the paru home page.

@bulletmark there is nothing extraordinary about the way I am building it, at least for the
makechrootpk
route, which built successfully as I mentioned. Also, the
/startdir/PKGBUILD
in the log is a dead giveaway that it was being built in a chroot as it is what Arch's official dev-tools are using (ergo, indirectly mentioning it). That being said, paru
might have a hand in this failure, as it succeeds with the Arch'smakechrootpkg
.« First ‹ Previous 1 2 3 4 5 6 Next › Last »
