NicoHood, if you are going to apply for TU then I more than happy to leave the package to you. Once you become a TU you can move it to [community] yourself.

anatolik: I am fine with that. However I am currently planning for applying for a TU (mainly because of the arduino package). I asked alucryd and he said I should possibly maintain a few more packages that TU is accepted better by other TU members.

So this is one of the packages I would also like to maintain, but don't want to keep you from moving it to community. Thats a great idea anyways. So that is up to you now. Let me know what you think :)

Since I provide a binary repository it is not too important. But if you like to maintain it and if you're able to provide updates as fast as NicoHood and me feel free to take it. It is your decision, anyways.

If you like to take it, you can fix the indentation and improve the descriptions. (That's what I would have done when updating next time.)

This package is super popular and I think that [community] would be a better place for the package.

Are you OK if I move it to [community]?

The pyusb beta package seems to be removed now, so its all good. Thanks anatolik :)

anatolik: No, the merge is sufficient (and was the better then just deleting the Python 2 version). Thanks for taking care, anyways. Of course the git versions could also be merged, however the maintainer would have to create a split PKGBUILD first.

Hi. I am an arch TU and I read comments for this package. I merged pyusb packeges for your convenience. Are there any other pyusb related requests?

Martchus commented on 2016-08-29 18:41

I think the packages actually got merged because comments and votes for both packages now occur here (but this is even better). I'm just wondering that it happened so fast, my last request (for another package) is still pending.

I have already uploaded the latest version to the binary repo. At least the Python 3 version seems to work. The Python 2 package looks correct, too.

Cool the deletion worked.

The packages are merged now, so you can try to push again. And thanks for the contribution!
