Thanks for reporting the error, @louis94.

I changed the PKGBUILD to cherry-pick the relevant commit. I did a bit of testing already; does this fix the problem for you too?

The upstream release used by this package is broken for Python 3.3+ (dies with ImportError) [1]. There is a fix upstream, but there was no new stable release. Can we consider cherry-picking the patch?
