Feedback:

  • It may be worth pulling in PR 110 since python-appdirs appears relatively abandoned, whereas python-platformdirs has the backing of the tox devs.
  • Also, PEP517 invocations are preferred -- python -m build rather than python setup.py build -- see wiki. (Note you'll need to add python-build, python-installer to makedepends)
  • The license could be specified more precisely as BSD-3-Clause.
  • Finally, given that the package isn't split, why is depends modified in package()?
  • (style difference: why distribute the patch yourself when it's present as PR 116 in the repo? It suffices to list it as https://github.com/alex/rply/pull/116.patch)
