Yes, it broke like every python package which installs into the versioned LIBDIR (like /usr/lib/python314) when Arch switched to python 3.14. And for AUR packages every user/consumer is in charge to keep them in a working state unless adjustments for the PKGBUILD are necessary.

Some maintainers may bump pkgrel out of convinience, but it isn't required and I don't tend to do that for various reasons.

Apparently this is breaking with Python 3.14 update, requiring a rebuild. See comments in https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/patool
