python2-numpy has been restored. But it would still be useful to separate this package to Python 3 and Python 2 PKGBUILDS. As any Python 2 package must be rebuilt from scratch by the users, whereas most Python 3 packages are carried in binary form by Arch repositories.

Hi, I suggest to drop the python2- subpackage. The Python 2 ecosystem for astronomy and cosmology is essentially dead, and on AUR it helps to remove the unneeded packages.

Btw actually it's refreshing to see academia being so cutting-edge with respect to software technology upgrades (like Py2 -> Py3), at least in fields related to computational science. :)
