@yochananmarqos Thank you for taking the time to point out the Python guidelines. As you might guess, I am new to this and was just following pypi2pkgbuild assuming it would do the right thing. Your guidance is much appreciated.

I've updated the package to match the example you gave (except I had to specify _name manually since the Python package has an uppercase "M" in its name).

Please follow Python package guidelines. Your PKGBUILD is unnecessarily complex and Pip should not be used at all. See my python-types-setuptools PKGBUILD for an example.
