PSA: Like most of the PKGBUILDs that I (co-)maintain, I host prebuilt packages for this in my user repository and all its dependencies for those who wish to install it using pacman without messing around with building from the AUR. Issues or contributions are welcome either in comments below or via this GitHub repository.

@loathingkernel that's an upstream issue I've already reported and is fixed in the latest release: https://github.com/unified-font-object/ufoNormalizer/issues/78

It conflicts with python-configobj from community

error: failed to commit transaction (conflicting files)
python-ufonormalizer: /usr/lib/python3.9/site-packages/__pycache__/_version.cpython-39.opt-1.pyc exists in filesystem (owned by python-configobj)

I think these files shouldn't be there in the first place.

a lot of tests are failing, can it be bc of pyhton upgrade? http://ix.io/2Gqr
