Apparently, python-bloom still depends on this discontinued Python library.

The repo has been archived in 2020, and its README says:

This repository has been archived due to a lack of maintenance and no longer being used in the ROS project.

For similar functionality see *

* Note; the successor tool is called vcstool, without an 's' in the end. AUR has that one: python-vcstool.

I would like to suggest that you consider submitting a deletion request for this package.

@patrickelectric Seems like your comment is meant for the "vcstool" package not the "vcstools" package which this is.

Add this message in the end when the install is finished. ``` Setup auto-completion For the shells bash, tcsh and zsh vcstool can provide auto-completion of the various VCS commands. In order to enable that feature the shell specific completion file must be sourced. For bash append the following line to the ~/.bashrc file: source /usr/share/vcstool-completion/vcs.bash For tcsh append the following line to the ~/.cshrc file: source /usr/share/vcstool-completion/vcs.tcsh For zsh append the following line to the ~/.zshrc file: source /usr/share/vcstool-completion/vcs.zsh ```
