Sorry, but I could not reproduce. This is what I get when building python-wakeonlan from the cleanest possible chroot (deleting and recreating it).

Please provide more info about your system (Python packages installed through pacman, AUR, pip, etc.), or the steps you took to install python-wakeonlan.

Can confirm the what Ape is saying. I had to manually copy wakeonlan.py from the downloaded archive to /usr/lib/python3.10/site-packages/wakeonlan.py

Ape commented on 2022-07-12 19:09 (UTC)

I did a clean build and the resulting package seems to be missing

/usr/lib/python3.10/site-packages/wakeonlan.py

This is present in 1.1.6.

Could you elaborate? I was able to import the module just fine after building in a clean chroot.

Ape commented on 2022-07-10 17:48 (UTC)

The new version is missing the wakeonlan module (for importing).

This package installs a binary (/usr/bin/wol) that conflicts with the wol package. Would you consider installing it to /usr/bin/python-wol instead? Also, you can use this download URL to avoid having to change it with each update: https://pypi.python.org/packages/source/w/wakeonlan/wakeonlan-$pkgver.tar.gz
