@dreieck: mmm, I remember having made this package because I had problems with python2-dbus and didn't have the time to wait for maintainer update.

Will be happy to merge if I can co-maintain (I still depend on many python2 packages).

python2-dbus is the name the package had when it was still in the main repositories, so there's historical precedent for the name.

Will have to sit down and figure out how that signature stuff works exactly. So far it fails to verify for me.

Makedepend python2-sphinx is not available.

Can you make use of package signature checking, please? There are .asc-files upstream you could use. Package dbus-python2 does make use of them.
