Could you try updating the source to

Sorry for the delay, added the makedepends. Regarding the source file name, this strange behavior is due to makepkg, which doesn't use the Content-Disposition header. I suppose you could try requesting it as a feature over there.

Please update the PKGBUILD. Thanks.

Okay, but please make sure that the source file name looks like a compressed file so I can use rules like *.tar.gz or *.zip to ignore it in my project.

Re makedepends, will do (in a week, away from computer ATM).

Re source, the one you gave redirects to the one I'm using, I chose it to avoid the redirect.

Edit: just checked, and github sets the filename properly; there's no reason to use the last URL component as the filename.

Also please use <> as source. The current one points to a file named v1.0.0 which supposes to be a compressed file but having no suffix like .tar.gz or .zip.

Please add makedepends=('python-setuptools' 'python2-setuptools').

Hi, could you make it into a split package so that it supports python2?
