Yes, I had to remove and recreate the directory from the source file.

@j0hannes I've just re-downloaded the source file and got the same hash.

Could you try re-download it too?

j0hannes commented on 2019-06-19 11:23

the checksum seems to be wrong

please, split the packages - currently it's totally wrong because python-toolz should have the "any" architecture but python-cytoolz is platform-specific (compiled).

I also believe that two packages are better.

Thanks. :)

I still hesitate to provide both packages (i.e. toolz and cytoolz) in the same PKGBUILD. In practice cytoolz depends on toolz, their versions must match exactly, they provide the exact same set of functionalities, but one is pure python and the other is not... Most users will want cytoolz, but some (most notably with pypy) won't...

I think I am going to split. For the time being, I am going to switch to Pypi as a provider: github releases are better (and I am sure we will switch back), but there is no release for cytoolz on github at this point in time.

@gdonval I added you as a co-maintainer. :)

You may want to provide cytoolz at the same time as toolz: their versions must match anyway (otherwise there are incompatibilities raising unclear errors on import). I have a PKGBUILD ready for that if you wish.

If you are not interested in maintaining this package anymore, I can take over.
