I'll look into the pyenv issue. There was a super weird patch for it which I removed, it really wasn't correct.

Re the GPG key: Yes, that's intended.

tuxsavvy commented on 2015-06-06 00:16

Two issues with this package as of writing:

1) Martin v. Löwis GPG key needs to be added:
$ gpg --recv-key 6AF053F07D9DC8D2
gpg: key 7D9DC8D2: public key "Martin v. Löwis <martin@v.loewis.de>"
...

2) An issue with Modules/getbuildinfo.c, more information:

Packaged orphaned… Feel free to adopt it…
Sorry for the delay.

this

should work fine

db4.5 fails to install due to conflicting files with db. There's also a forum thread here: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=161928

Does anyone have a fix?

mathieu.clabaut commented on 2011-12-26 09:34

(By the way, thanks Pete ! )

I've added shetland_breeder fix. Tell me if it doesn't work for you.
In the process I've also fixed a problem with svnversion being used inapropriately.

shetland_breeder commented on 2011-12-16 19:13

The fix for this is to add the following as the first line of build ()

export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=${LD_LIBRARY_PATH}:$startdir/src/Python-$pkgver

Well, it works for me ;)

Pete

The same build error happens to me.
(full system update a few hours ago)

The same build error happens to me - had full system update only a few hours ago.

Can't build:
python$EXE ../../Tools/scripts/h2py.py -i '(u_long)' /usr/include/netinet/in.h
python: error while loading shared libraries: libpython2.5.so.1.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
make: *** [Lib/plat-linux3] Error 127

Does not look out of date to me

http://www.python.org/download/releases/2.5.6/
This release is most likely the final release of Python 2.5; under the current release policy, no security issues in Python 2.5 will be fixed after October, 2011.

mathieu.clabaut commented on 2011-09-25 13:47

I'm unable to reproduce it here…
I've just done a makepkg -f and it works…

I'll take a patch for it if someone who has the problem is able to make one…

dreamcwli commented on 2011-09-25 07:05

There is a workaround:
$ LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/tmp/yaourt-tmp-$USER/aur-python25/src/Python-2.5.6 yaourt -S python25

danmilon commented on 2011-09-23 16:19

Same problem.

Same here!

Same problem for me...

It fails to build with above error

Done

There's Python 2.5.6, would be nice if this package could be updated.
