Is there any information on the PKGBUILD update?

Totally fair. Rest up, we hope you recover well in that case!

I will be working on updating the pkgbuild soon, but I can't do so now, since I recently went through an eye surgery and can't spend much time on my computer

Just popping in to confirm that this no longer generates 16 colours. A more up-to-date repo is https://github.com/eylles/pywal16 . Could you switch the package to this source? Build should be largely similar.

I cant seem to install latest package ... it says pywal-16-colors 3.3.1.r132.ge7b0970-1 is available .. but when I try to install it says 3.3.0.r152.g7b09708-1 is installed instead ..pywal doesnt generate 16 colors scale anymore, I need help.

My aur helper keeps prompting me with an update to pywal-16-colors-3.3.0.r131.ge136433-1-1 but then proceeds to install pywal-16-colors-3.3.0.r131.ge136433-1, thus prompting me again and again. Is there an issue in the PKGBUILD causing this?

I might be wrong, but all development of pywal 16 seems to have converged to this new repo https://github.com/eylles/pywal16. Maybe swap to this source?

Please update the version in .SRCINFO in line pkgver

pywal-16-colors: local version (3.3.0.r131.ge136433-1) is newer than AUR (3.3.0.r128.g4997a49-1)
