I think you must add qt5-serialbus, which pulls qt5-serialport, to depends line in your PKGBUILD (same add is needed for qslave):
depends=('qt5-base' 'qt5-serialbus')
BTW: qt5-serialbus is in Extra repository ;-)
I'm beggining to try your qmaster and qslave programs against Beremiz [1] running in Raspbian Stretch Lite (non GUI) on a Raspberry Pi. Soon, I will try your software with real Modbus RTU modules.
