kimageformats now supports HEIF, so I'm migrating to that and disowning this package.

To anyone following along, I've adopted and fixed the package. This VCS package is now correctly named -git. I've also created the stable version at qt-heif-image-plugin. Upstream hasn't updated anything in a few years. I've included the one substantial commit (from two years ago) into the stable package, so it's probably better to install that version anyway.

Thanks @ainola for the advice. I was going to add both stable and dev versions, but I will change the name(s) and get rid of the split package. I've uploaded qt-heif-image-plugin-git and this package can be merged into that.

EDIT: I'll push the stable version after this basename qt-heif-image-plugin is free again (I presume that's how it works).

EDIT2: Unless you think it's better to just change this current qt-heif-image-plugin to provide the stable version, then move the -git upstream version to a new pkgname.

Thanks for taking over, Rhinoceros. I don't know why this is some weird split package situation but this should definitely just use the stable release instead.

Hi, I'm wondering if you were interested in submitting the non-vcs version of this package? Upstream has only made one substantial commit since the last stable version three years ago.

I'm happy to do it if you don't want to, but I'd want to be consistent with the name, and I'm a bit confused by the naming of this package. I would have intuitively named this package qt-heif-image-plugin-git as per upstream. However the package name is qt5-heif-git, and the pkgbase is qt-heif-image-plugin. This seems to have been from the initial commit. I had a look at the wiki, and I don't think this should have a pkgbase, since it's not a split package. If so, then IMO the pkgname should also change.

This package currently builds the latest master branch, making it a VCS package without a -git suffix. It needs to be changed to build stable releases instead.
