Beware, they are homonym, the "qstat" package you talk about is a tool to query Quake game servers, which is not related at all to the "qstat" and "qtop" TORQUE / Grid Engine tools.
I don't know how it works on Arch, but you can see Debian has two different packages:
* "gridengine-client" package that ships the "qstat" binary, see https://packages.debian.org/stable/gridengine-client
* "qstat" package that ships the "quakestat" binary (renamed to avoid conflict), see https://packages.debian.org/stable/qstat
Arch must differentiate these tools too.
If the AUR "qtop" package use the current AUR "qstat" package, it will be broken for sure.

I can't install this. It conflicts with Torque!
