See comments in lib32-qt4. chroot guarantees that it builds only with the items in the PKGBUILD. Optional dependencies you happen to have installed can crash the build. Some have had had luck with removing various packages it's much easier to use chroot. ccm makes chroot for AUR stupid simple.

Ok with chroot I successfully build package. Why does it needs to chroot ?

When it doesn't build in your native environment you must build in a clean chroot. clean-chroot-manager is the easiest way and I've provided a live patch for Manjaro.

I'm also on Manjaro and I'm experiencing the same problem: ERROR: A failure occurred in build(). Aborting... ==> ERROR: Makepkg was unable to build qtwebkit. Someone please help me get around this. I need this program in order to install Google Music.
