R-pillar has been updated now, but this package should specify the >= 1.10.1 requirement now. Same also for r-rlang>=1.1.4.

This package is part of a massive number of packages that are bot built. We need to work on the r-pillar maintainer...

Can't update my r-bench. Apparently it depends on a later version of r-pillar which is not provided in AUR. 

Error in loadNamespace(j <- i[[1L]], c(lib.loc, .libPaths()), versionCheck = vI[[j]]) : 
  namespace ‘pillar’ 1.9.0 is being loaded, but >= 1.10.1 is required
