This package has a semi-cyclical dependency: r-pillar checkdepends on r-testthat, which depends on r-waldo, which depends on r-tibble, which depends on r-pillar.

I'm leaving maintenance and support for this package in favor of new repository. You can install pre-built packages from my repo

@kr1st0 replace

  R CMD INSTALL ${pkgname}-${pkgver}.tar.gz -l ${srcdir}

with

  R CMD INSTALL ${_cranname}_${_cranver}.tar.gz -l ${srcdir}

When update the r-pillar package, I've got this error message: Warning: invalid package ‘r-pillar-1.4.7.tar.gz’ Error: ERROR: no packages specified is there anything I can do to fix this?

Please update PKGBUILD to build-command from R CMD INSTALL ${cranname}${_cranver}.tar.gz -l ${srcdir} to R CMD INSTALL ${pkgname}-${pkgver}.tar.gz -l ${srcdir}

@dviktor any chance of adding r-lifecycle as a dependency in the PKGBUILD?

mxfm commented on 2020-07-29 17:35 (UTC)

@japhir Thanks, I know that. I have written to notify PKGBUILD maintainer.

japhir commented on 2020-07-29 06:37 (UTC)

@mxfm: you can edit the PKGBUILD to include r-lifecycle as a dependency, seems that the R package has been added as a dependency.
