klingt: I've tried your package, but the URL inside the PKGBUILD seems dead. I've gotten things working by manually downloading the firmware from http://www.realtek.com.tw/Downloads/downloadsView.aspx?Langid=1&PNid=14&PFid=55&Level=5&Conn=4&DownTypeID=3&GetDown=false into the SRCDEST (your AUR repo) and changed the sources to source=('0010-r8152.53-2.10.0.tar.bz2' 'dkms.conf'). Now my Ethernet works! Thank you.

I updated the package to use the driver in version 2.10.0: https://github.com/klingtnet/r8152-dkms-AUR

This is the same kernel module needed for 8153

Don't mind me. I hadn't plugged in the Ethernet cable. *sigh*

I haven't had Ethernet via my Lenovo Thunderbolt 3 dock for a week or two now. Anyone else? It worked fine when I first installed this driver, but no longer. Maybe this has some issue with the latest kernel?
