@txtsd well it works (I cannot really try/simulate when the server double-encodes), however I think gzip is missing from makedepends

@birdspider Please test and see if the extraction works for you. I don't get the doubly-archived file so I tested by manually zipping the file and keeping the same extension.

Additionally, I would like to change the versioning scheme of this package to reflect the date in the filename (2025-10-29-1732) instead of the git tag (which does nothing for us since this isn't FOSS).

Can you fix the PKGBUILD to handle when the file is doubly archived?

Or let me get co-maintainer and I'll take care of it.

@ArcaeaOS, no idea what you mean, but if checksum is a problem:

AMDs webserver sometimes serves RadeonDeveloperToolSuite-2025-03-07-1606.tgz (a gzipped tar) gzip encoded without Content-Encoding headers, hence changing the payload (checksum). You could gunzip the file and then restore the .tgz extension and run makepkg manually.

I can't really fix this double-encoded content delivery myself.

@raydredondo: rdp ? as in RadeonDeveloperPanel ? it's included under /opt/radeon-gpu-profiler/RadeonDeveloperPanel - I did not make a bin shortcut since I wasn't aware that particular tool was important - do you deem it useful enough to create a rdp launcher script?
