I did but the response was that the temperature is handled by lm_sensors and not the gpu registers that radeontop gets, which makes sense, so I closed the request. Now looking at the package build to see if I can figure out how to add it, and at present it's way over my head... maybe someday.

You can try to open a feature request on the GitHub page, maybe this feature would be added in radeontop. :)

Thank you Xorg, yes the others show the temp, just thought it'd be handy in top also, will follow your advice as I don't know how to add it.

Really, I don't know. You can open an issue on the GitHub page: https://github.com/clbr/radeontop/issues
Personaly, I use radeon-profile to get GPU temperature and clocks, but lm_sensors can also get GPU temperature.

Is there a way to add the gpu temperature to radeontop?

Ok, I added myself to the kmem groud, see if that works.

[lelele@home-pc ~]$ radeontop
Can't open /dev/mem, are you root?

Should I use sudo? Am I the only one who gets this error?

Could you update this for the /usr/bin move?
