I've altered the upstream source to a semi-maintained Python3 fork. radiotray will emit warnings so please send patches upstream: https://github.com/lubosz/radiotray

python2-dbus 1.2.16-3 has been removed from the [extra] repository.

Name changes will probably impact your build. python2-dbus and dbus-python uninstalled radiotray for the time being

Except if 1) you don't use GNOME, or 2) you use TopIcons Plus. :) But yes, radiotray-ng is probably a better idea.

Gnome seemed to have removed the system tray bar, hence this app is now pointless.

Album art appears to rely on metadata within the stream; according to the debug log output the necessary data (data['homepage']) isn't present (e.g. "{'station': 'Radio Paradise', 'title': 'BeauSoleil - Bamako'}"). I think it's probably better to move towards radioplayer-ng now, though...

This latest update (as awesome as it is being able to drop those old gstreamer0.10 dependencies) broke the Radio Paradise album art being saved to ~/.local/share/radiotray/icon

Updated. Massive props to the Debian developers for the compatibility patches.
