Are you editing the "s" out of the url OR the source ? Since you are getting the same error I am guessing it is the url field and NOT the source field. IF it IS the source field you edited, and since the error does not change.....I am guessing some changes in either curl or curl settings...or other security changes on your end. <- For what it is worth....I am fully updated here on my system, and I do not need https at all !!

OK, I edited the "s" out, but I see this after doing so:

curl: (60) SSL: no alternative certificate subject name matches target host name 'www.rapidsvn.org'
More details here: https://curl.se/docs/sslcerts.html

curl failed to verify the legitimacy of the server and therefore could not
establish a secure connection to it. To learn more about this situation and
how to fix it, please visit the web page mentioned above.
==> ERROR: Failure while downloading http://www.rapidsvn.org/download/release/0.12.1/rapidsvn-0.12.1.tar.gz
    Aborting...
Failed to build rapidsvn

Yep !! ... Seems one of you NEEDS https:// and the another NEEDS it http:// ... which points to an upstream problem !! (i.e. No certificate match-up.)

BujuArena - Is it possible for you to edit out the "s" that was not there when you said it compiled for you a few weeks ago ?

P.S... I am not sure if it will work for some people as the coding is quite old. It works here, but I can see why you can get compiles & installs but it will not run. AGAIN, this should be fixed upstream.

I'm seeing this with a clean build:

curl: (60) SSL: no alternative certificate subject name matches target host name 'www.rapidsvn.org'
More details here: https://curl.se/docs/sslcerts.html

curl failed to verify the legitimacy of the server and therefore could not
establish a secure connection to it. To learn more about this situation and
how to fix it, please visit the web page mentioned above.

Found another minor issue, so I updated this AND made sure the url's work for those whom have "security-settings" issues !

The download didn't work for me due to security reasons. The source should be updated with https://

autoreconf: Leaving directory '.'
sed: impossibile leggere src/locale/Makefile: File o directory non esistente
==> ERRORE: Si è verificato un errore in build().

I tried to install this again and I was able to. Thank you!

However, there seems to be a new issue, at least for me.

The interface is completely frozen when running it. The interface elements appear in a window and I can drag the window around and minimize/maximize it, but nothing inside window is interactive.

If I run rapidsvn from a terminal, I see this output:

10:58:01: Warning: Mismatch between the program and library build versions detected.
The library used 3.0 (wchar_t,compiler with C++ ABI 1013,wx containers,compatible with 2.8),
and your program used 3.0 (wchar_t,compiler with C++ ABI 1014,wx containers,compatible with 2.8).

Therefore, this package is still unusable here for me, unfortunately. I would love to use RapidSVN. Thank you for your maintenance.
