Now it works with the command from the stickied comment gpg --keyserver hkps://keys.openpgp.org --recv-keys BD04DA24C971B8D587B2B8D7FAF69CF6CD2D02CD

Skalli84 commented on 2020-09-16 12:46 (UTC)

Could get the key with this and build razergenie 0.9.0 without trouble. So I can confirm that it works. Thanks for the package, it's really useful for Razer users.

z3ntu commented on 2020-09-16 12:42 (UTC)

@all I've updated the stickied comment to point to keys.openpgp.org where you can find the key, sorry for the troubles.

I guess the think with the non expiring key didn't work out? ;) ==> Verifying source file signatures with gpg... RazerGenie-0.9.0.tar.xz ... FAILED (unknown public key 72D843B89D4DD756) ==> ERROR: One or more PGP signatures could not be verified!

The command "gpg --recv-keys BD04DA24C971B8D587B2B8D7FAF69CF6CD2D02CD" didn't work either: gpg: keyserver receive failed: General error

Confirmed : gpg --recv-keys 72D843B89D4DD756

gpg: échec de réception depuis le serveur de clefs : Pas de données

gpg --receive-keys 72D843B89D4DD756 no name --error

@fallenpixel: Only a warning :) The next release will be signed by a non-expired key.

fallenpixel commented on 2019-12-17 12:12 (UTC)

GPG key is expired

barrybingo commented on 2018-10-24 07:48 (UTC)

gpg --keyserver hkp://pgp.mit.edu --recv-keys 398DA912A3CB0619

works

cheers

@z3ntu

https://github.com/z3ntu/RazerGenie/commits/master

Your commit on 29th August uses 85E3F341DDEC37A8 to sign

The latest commits now use the missing 398DA912A3CB0619

Are you sure latest key is on the keyserver? Cheers.

z3ntu commented on 2018-10-24 07:45 (UTC)

I've resubmitted the updated key to pgp.mit.edu, I submitted it to keyserver.ubuntu.com and one other I think like a week ago (and it also is currently available on the Ubuntu keyserver). No idea why it's not being picked up by others.

I'm having the same issues as ILMostro7, I have been unable to install, receive, sign, or otherwise do anything about the missing/untrusted key (398DA912A3CB0619).

Is it possible somebody signed the file with the wrong key?

ILMostro7 commented on 2018-10-23 23:01 (UTC) (edited on 2018-10-23 23:08 (UTC) by ILMostro7)

gpg --refresh-keys
gpg: refreshing 13 keys from hkps://hkps.pool.sks-keyservers.net

gpg --search-keys 398DA912A3CB0619

no data

Same thing after doing pacman-key --refresh-keys.

Interesting...

z3ntu commented on 2018-10-22 05:25 (UTC)

@Majora320: You have to refresh your GPG keyring (= update the keys)

Getting FAILED (unknown public key 398DA912A3CB0619) for RazerGenie-0.8.1.tar.xz

MoroS commented on 2018-07-16 15:15 (UTC)

@z3ntu: Got it. :)

If anyone else has problems with importing the key, try the SKS pool:

gpg --keyserver pool.sks-keyservers.net --recv-key BD04DA24C971B8D587B2B8D7FAF69CF6CD2D02CD

z3ntu commented on 2018-07-16 14:52 (UTC)

Try some other keyserver. Some seem to have problems at times...

MoroS commented on 2018-07-16 14:48 (UTC)

@z3ntu: I don't think it's my lucky day... :/

$ gpg --recv-keys BD04DA24C971B8D587B2B8D7FAF69CF6CD2D02CD
gpg: keyserver receive failed: No data

Maybe it's from another key server?

It's a known bug with yaourt. I would recommend pacaur instead of it.

MorningStarGG commented on 2017-06-08 19:41 (UTC)

I had to manually install "python-notify2" from AUR before I installed this or dependencies would fail to install. Not sure if this is a bug in the AUR install or what.
