Package moved to AUR4.

veox commented on 2015-02-16 03:51

Adopted, source link changed, AUR package ChangeLog removed, pkgrel bumped.

Source link is obsolete. At present the source package is available at http://archive.miek.nl/projects/rdup/rdup-1.1.14.tar.bz2

@dlin: Yes, rdup has had this problem a couple of times already (I mean the build process does not handle multiple jobs well). I've added -j1 to PKGBUILD to prevent this trouble, until the author fixes the Makefile.

dlin commented on 2013-04-18 01:04

Can't build, x86_64,
/usr/include/glib-2.0 -I/usr/lib/glib-2.0/include -c base64.c
strip rdup rdup-tr rdup-up
strip: 'rdup': No such file
strip: 'rdup-tr': No such file
strip: 'rdup-up': No such file
make: *** [strip] Error 1

I found the temp solution is '-j1' option on make

@tongpu: thanks. Hopefully fixed in 1.1.14-2.

tongpu commented on 2013-04-02 21:26

I needed to apply this patch to make it compile with libarchive 3.1.2-1: http://pastebin.com/FxBJ1NAJ

@andreas_baumann: Thanks.

@bender02:

diff ../rdup/rdup-tr.c rdup-tr.c
105,106c105
< char *buf, *fbuf, *readbuf, *n, *pathbuf;
< char *tmpname = NULL;
---
> char *buf, *fbuf, *readbuf, *n, *pathbuf, *tmpname;

Is fixed in git repository 'http://www.miek.nl/git/rdup.git'. Please add
it as a backport patch to the package.

pkg-config is a member of [base-devel] group which you're supposed to have installed if you build aur packages.

Anonymous comment on 2011-05-10 09:40

Please add pkg-config as a dependency. My build failed because it was missing on my system.

Anonymous comment on 2011-05-06 15:57

Thanks! it runs through now.

bender02 commented on 2011-05-06 10:36

OK, should compile now (1.1.11-2). It compiled when I submitted -1... so maybe some gcc change caused this?

Anonymous comment on 2011-05-05 19:11

Does not compile...
Once again with error message in english. Thanks
