Same issue as user=blackhole:
error: failed to commit transaction (conflicting files)
realvnc-vnc-server: /usr/bin/vncserver exists in filesystem

After installing realvnc-vnc-viewer I have this error:

It seems that realvnc have changed links for downloading on their side,

inferno0230 in ~/apps/realvnc-vnc-server on master λ makepkg -si

To prepare for the upgrade to v7, read https://help.realvnc.com/hc/en-us/articles/8881174740637-How-has-licensing-changed-between-VNC-6-x-and-VNC-7-x-#upgrading-vnc-6-x-to-vnc-7-x-0-0 for the licensing change in VNC 7+

source_aarch64 should have VNC-Server-${pkgver}-Linux-ARM64.deb instead of VNC-Server-${pkgver}-Linux-ARM.deb; ARM.deb is only for armv7h.

@RaistlinMy

You can go to:

https://www.realvnc.com/en/connect/home

and create an account at the site, if you have not one, and then apply for the "Home subscription".

You can connect up to 5 remote PCs for free.

How can I use the free version, it keeps saying me I don't have a license

Error: No license keys found. Run vnclicense to apply the license key associated with your Enterprise subscription. [NoLicense]

One can install libxcrypt-compatin the meantime, looking for the best solution before amending the package.

daniell commented on 2022-02-15 15:36 (UTC)

It seems the libxcrypt update broke this as there's no more /usr/lib/libcrypt.so.1
