@beoldhin
You can still use several countries by using a PROTOCOL# in reflector.conf.

@Skynet
this line is not wrong. The »-« at the start of the line indicates that the mentioned file does not need to exist in case you want no local override.

Skynet commented on 2017-10-02 11:44

Please change wrong line in 'reflector.service':

EnvironmentFile=-/etc/conf.d/reflector.conf =>
EnvironmentFile=/etc/conf.d/reflector.conf

reflector-timer-weekly was merged into reflector-timer by a merge request filed by someone. I don't want to bother creating a new package at present.
Anyone still interested in reflector-timer-weekly can build and install it manually from https://github.com/bianjp/aur-reflector-timer

beoldhin commented on 2017-09-25 04:55

I just moved from reflector-timer-weekly (discontinued) to reflector-timer. With reflector-timer-weekly I could define multiple countries or not define a country at all. With reflector-timer I have to define one but only one country.

@jtmb
You're operating it wrong. Create the file »/etc/conf.d/reflector.conf« by copying /usr/share/reflector-timer/reflector.conf to it and make the content of the variables empty.

jtmb commented on 2017-09-19 07:16

When I comment out or delete lines with other protocols in /etc/conf.d/reflector.conf, the service seems to be ignoring my choices of protocol completely. Is this a bug or am I operating it wrong?

@erikdubois Removed country from default configuration.

I want to include this package in ArchLabs but not like this.
I get a list of servers of China.
Please delete country in config and update
maybe a hashtagged list of all countries?

It looks like this package now does exactly what reflector-timer does
