@Mysti The application hasn't been updated for 6 years and is probably abandoned at this point, so please don't flag it as out of date when it's not. Out-of-date function is NOT for pinging comments about missing dependency to the maintainer. Install the GTK-version instead.

Mysti commented on 2025-05-07 18:02 (UTC)

Requires GTK2 as a dependency

You are correct, but like I said the betas are as stable as the official release you maintain, just with a few new features. On the rare occasion that I do run into a issue I go straight to Hans forum and post there.

@Locutus64 Another AUR maintainer? As far as I know, there is only 3 packages on AUR for renamemytvseries, which I'm the maintainer of. This is the stable one, the other two (QT/GTK-versions) are still in beta.

I'm actually running the current beta done by another AUR maintainer. It has a few more features that the stable build, but is just as stable because the creator makes sure of it.

@Locutus64 Made some changes to the PKGBUILD itself, it shouldn't trigger an update though? But as you said, there is no update of the application itself :)

I commented cause the was a update notice pushed out from here yesterday.

There isn't, last release is from a couple of years ago.

Was just on Hans download page and I didn't see that he pushed a new update.

Just tried both and the qt version is up and running without issue. I could not tell if the the other was yours or the one I was running from it's folder. Thanks
