@Cynthetika The patch isn't used anymore since 2019, I'll remove it next time something needs to be changed in the PKGBUILD.

The patch changing python2 to python3 is no longer needed as upstream now uses python3.

The documentation format changed from .txt to .md, change the last two lines in package() to

install -D -m 644 docs/manifest-format.md "$pkgdir/usr/share/doc/repo/manifest-format.md"
install -D -m 644 docs/repo-hooks.md "$pkgdir/usr/share/doc/repo/repo-hooks.md"

Please fix the version: - remove 'v' prefix - add 'r' right before git revision number. https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/VCS_PKGBUILD_Guidelines#Git

repo-git seems to be unmaintained. Check https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/repo/

I get File repo is not a regular file -- refusing to patch 3 out of 3 hunks ignored -- saving rejects to file repo.rej
