@solatis, really i doesn't know how replace unmaintained package that is why i create this package.

Thanks for this package, works great. Is there any way in AUR we can vote for this package to replace the (unmaintained) existing rescuetime package?

@davidjytang You can just simply disable validity check in your AUR helper (e.g. yay -S --mflags --skipinteg rescuetime). Apparently rescuetime released a new version to be downloaded but the hash hasn't been updated yet.

Does anyone know how to bypass this error?

In attempting to run after install I'm seeing the following logs:

No systemtrayicon available
xprop: error: Invalid window id format: 0x0.

The following deps appear to be installed:

  • xorg-xprop 1.2.3-1
  • qt4 4.8.7-26
  • xprintidle 0.2.2-2

Is there some step I may have missed?

If anyone is looking for an open source alternative, try ActivityWatch: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/activitywatch-bin/

Also, RescueTime is definitely not GPL2. Could you change that @SZoPer or @caleb?

@all

I don't use rescuetime anymore and have transferred the package to @SZoPer and @caleb .

Thanks.

Is there anybody who got it working successfully with the plugin on Firefox Developer Edition? The titles of the webpages do show up, but the sites themselves are not identified. They are all lumped into one single activity called "Firefox Developer Edition", which is very inconvenient for time tracking.
