@agorax I think you should install
electron29-bin
at first.agorax commented on 2025-05-10 05:32 (UTC) (edited on 2025-05-10 05:32 (UTC) by agorax)
It keep on insist to install nodejs-lts-iron as dependencies which can raise conflict with another package. I can resolved it by change it with 'nodejs>=20.17.0' as dependecies and it will used systemwide nodejs. For electron it can actually run fine on electron36. Maybe it will be more sensible to make it use systemwide electron instead of depend on electron29. Thanks

The electron29 package required by this package seems to be preventing my system from updating because of the newest version of icu. I tried doing a clean build and reinstall, but I get the same errors when updating with yay:
error: failed to prepare transaction (could not satisfy dependencies)
:: installing icu (76.1-1) breaks dependency 'libicui18n.so=75-64' required by electron29

Last update has changed sources but not checksums, so this is failing to build

@deboeckj The upstream building used
electron29
right now. I think maybe you can send a request to the upstream.deboeckj commented on 2024-12-24 15:37 (UTC)
Could you updated electron to 32 or even 33? I just tried to manually change the PKGBUILD to use 32 and it seems to work just fine
