I have no idea. According to the git repo, it was added 106 minutes ago (as of the time I'm writing this).

Edit: I looked at both PKGBUILDS, there are some differences. Theirs seem a bit more complete but I added stuff they don't have (launcher and icons). It would be nice if both could be merged.

Is there a significant difference between this and the one from [community] (ignoring the minor version differences)?
Or was it just recently added to Community?

@acidrain42: Great, thanks a lot. Just build it with success on RPI3 and checked it out with libretro-stella. Everything's working fine.
I can confirm that your package is now working both on x64_64 and armv7h without hassle.

acidrain42 commented on 2016-03-16 21:36

I added both perl dependencies and these three arch: armv6h, armv7h, aarch64.

@OJaksch: I'll have to trust you with the nvidia-cg-toolkit dependency as I have no way of testing on arm architecture.

OJaksch commented on 2016-03-14 10:35

...and I suggest to add arm architectures, and to make this work change nvidia-cg-toolkit to include only when building on x86 based hardware.

Please add these to your dependency list (lots of errors in console without them):

That was it. Setting fastforward_ratio = "5.000000" restored it.

Pluto commented on 2016-01-17 10:31

Apparently, they changed part of the fast forward config from 1.2.2 to 1.3:

Could it be related to your issue?

el_psycho commented on 2016-01-17 06:44

Version 1.3-1 breaks Sega Genesis fast forward using core "". Updating the core did not solve the issue. Downgrading to version 1.2.2-6 restored fast forward functionality.

Retroarch 1.3.0 has officially been released! There isn't news on the libretro site of it yet, but if you check their GitHub releases (, you'll see the new source there.
